Course Description:

The study of United States history from 1865 to the present. This study includes the examination of Reconstruction, the growth of big business, urban development, Populism and Progressivism, the First and Second World War along with domestic and international developments since 1945. 45 class hours. This course satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of 'C' or higher must be attained. This course satisfies the Civics Literacy Requirement (Title XLVIII 1007.25(4)). A Grade of 'C' or higher must be attained.
