Course Description:

A study of the theory, organization, principles, and functioning of the Federal Government, emphasizing the relationship of the individual to the government and a study of the U.S. Constitution. 45 class hours. A grade of 'C' or higher is needed for this course to satisfy the Gordon Rule writing requirement and General Education requirement. A grade of 'C' or higher in this course partially fulfills the Civics Literacy Requirement as outlined in 1007.25, F.S. To fully meet the Civic Literacy Requirement, passing an approved assessment is also required.
