Course Description:
This American Heart Association CPR course provides information about heart disease, risk factors, signals and action for survival, prudent heart living, and heart and lung function. It includes instruction in one rescuer CPR, management of foreign body airway obstruction, two rescuer CPR, the use of barrier devices, the use of an automated external defibrillator and use of the bag mask resuscitator. The student must pass a written and performance evaluation.
