Course Description:

This curriculum chronicles the history and development of Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMS), their roles, and related components and functions, as well as a practical understanding of the ocean environment, maritime operations, thrusters, power and telemetry, cables and connectors, sensor theory, communications, underwater acoustics, sonar, manipulators and tooling, and vehicle control, design, and stability. The course also provides hands-on training of unmanned maritime systems and tooling and sensor deployment.
