Preclinical Procedures for Dental Assistants

This course introduces dental assisting students to clinical skills and procedures. Topics include an introduction to chairside assisting; patient assessment and data recording; safety and security procedures; and instruments and equipment used in the dental office. Principles of infection control and sterilization are included.
