Course Description:
This course is designed to assess the skills that comprise the core body of knowledge for all surgical technologists and provide preparation for the national certification exam. The focus of study will be a review of peri-operative care; intraoperative procedures; administrative procedures and personnel; equipment sterilization and maintenance; postoperative procedure; and basic science.
