Course Description:

This course prepares the student to take the national credentialing examination (A.R.R.T.) and the skills needed to be employed within the radiography field. The objective of this course is to provide the students on required ARRT testing center requirements. Assistance in completing the ARRT application. Enhance employability skills. Students will also be provided with a brief review in radiation protection, equipment operation, digital image production and evaluation, radiographic procedures, and patient care. Students will be provided with mock registry exams in each subject area to enhance test taking skills. This course will also provide the student with employability skills such as career paths, writing a professional resume, employment expectations and effective interviewing techniques.
