Course Description:
This course emphasizes a theoretical application of the nursing process as an approach in assisting women, children and families in meeting their basic needs in a variety of settings. The roles of the nurse as provider of care, communicator, teacher, manager and member of the profession provide the framework for clinical application and evaluation.
