Course Description:
This course is designed to provide practical laboratory support for concepts covered in MEA 0002 Medical Procedures Theory following the Florida Department of Education (FDOE) Student Performance Standards and to provide knowledge and practice necessary for successful completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) certification examination and employment as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). The course includes 318 lab hours to prepare students for future clinical experiences.
