Course Description:

This course incorporates theory and practical applications in the area of health and wellness. Emphasis is placed upon self assessment of the health-related components of fitness, nutrition, stress management, substance abuse, principles and benefits of exercise, prevention of disease and other current topics related to health, physical fitness and wellness. Physical activity may be a required component of this course.
