This course introduces students to skills and procedures common to health occupations. Content includes knowledge of the health care delivery system, communication skills, legal and ethical responsibilities, basic first aid and emergency care, wellness and disease. Other topics include developing leadership and teamwork skills and the application of critical thinking skills in a variety of presented scenarios.
