Course Description:

HSC 0003 Introduction to Health Occupations is designed to provide the Florida Department of Education Health Science Core that includes a practical knowledge of health occupations, health care delivery systems, therapeutic communication techniques, legal and ethical responsibilities, wellness and disease concepts, safety and security procedures, emergency response, infection control, HIV/AIDS, information technology applications, medical error prevention, domestic violence, employability skills, basic math and science skills, money management, and critical thinking.
