Course Description:

This course is designed to cover the basic factors involved in resolving various types of fire-related emergencies. Emphasis will be placed on adequate 'size up' procedures by the company officer and appropriate resource requests. It will further emphasize the nature of an emergency situation and different methods in which the fire officers may evaluate the effectiveness of their proposed plan of protection, thereby providing an atmosphere to handle and adapt to any required changes in the tactical approach.
