Course Description:

This course introduces students to films of international directors with comparative studies to American filmmakers. Emphasis will be on cultural diversity thought moral, spiritual, philosophical, and intellectual themes. Students will be expected to demonstrate competency in writing by producing work which is not only grammatically and mechanically correct, but which displays effective sentence structure and organization, precise diction, and proper MLA formatting. This is a writing credit course with international and intercultural content. This is an elective course that satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of 'C' or higher must be attained. This course is 3 credit hours.
