Course Description:
In this second clinical course, students begin patient care in the dental clinic. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment, instrumentation, dental radiography, polishing clinical crowns, fluoride application, root desensitization, anxiety and pain control, and medical emergency management. Student achievement in this course is grader as 'Pass/Fail.' Lab fee is required. 120 clinical hours.
