Course Description:
Students will study positions and barre exercises with an emphasis on correct alignments and the application of simple step combinations in centre work. Students will study and use ballet vocabulary (French terms). Material is covered almost totally as practical work in class with a few outside projects. Concert and performance attendance may be required. This class is repeatable twice. This course must be completed with a grade of 'C' or higher.
