Course Description:

Marine Biology is a survey of the organisms and habitats found in the marine ecosystem. This course will provide an overview of the ecology, adaptations and behavioral strategies that are needed by marine organisms in order to survive the physical and chemical nature of the marine environment. (Due to similarity in subject matter, both BSC1311 and OCE2001 cannot be used to meet general education requirements. One or the other can be used to fulfill one of the science requirements).
