Course Description:

This course will expose students to turbo-prop and turbine aircraft operations, including aircraft systems, aircraft performance, weight and balance considerations, high altitude flight, adverse weather operations, Flight Management Systems (FMS), and Crew Resource Management (CRM) concepts in a multi-crew environment. Students will be evaluated in a flight training device (FTD) using simulated flight profiles. This course does not conduct flight training towards obtaining an FAA certification or rating, and may not employ a certified flight instructor. Students may not receive logbook flight hours for simulator lessons. Students must present proof of U.S. citizenship, or TSA approval for flight planning to the Aviation Programs Director.
