Course Description:

This course prepares students for commercial pilot training and the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Commercial Pilot Airplane Knowledge Test. The student will explore advanced aircraft systems such as turbocharging engines, high-performance engines, retractable landing gear, and environmental systems. Weight and balance of larger aircraft, advanced performance charts, and procedures to maximize aircraft performance are also to be discussed.
