Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to aircraft engine types as well as systems and structures in use in both general aviation and transport category aircraft (airliners). Students will learn about engine types, materials and construction methods, aircraft structures and operations of hydraulic, electrical, pressurization, fuel, anti-ice systems, heating and instruments and sources of power for operation.
