Course Description:

This course is designed to provide the student with knowledge of intraoperative techniques. The main topics will be handling drains and dressings; incisions, pouring and receiving medications and solutions; corrections of contaminations; handling, passing, and disposing of sharps; labeling of medications; and advanced care and handling of specimens.
