Course Description:

This compressed developmental reading course is designed to increase a student's ability to comprehend college-level written material. Instruction is delivered through a combination of technology and instructor delivered content which offers a learning experience that helps students move more quickly through their developmental reading skills. This compressed mode enables students to receive instructor support and classroom engagement in concert with adaptive learning technology that focuses on individual deficiencies in reading. Students must pass the class with a 'C' or better and complete a comprehensive end of course exam. Four (4) compensatory credits will be earned. This course does not apply toward a degree. 60 class hours.
