Course Description:

This course will introduce students to writings by and about women in order to explore and define the diverse attitudes, historical contributions, ethical problems and human issues as they emanate from women in across cultures. Students will study readings in multiple genres written by and / or about women. The assigned works will explore representations of women and reflect changes brought about by historical developments and feminist thought. This is a writing credit course with international and intercultural content. This is an elective course that satisfies the Gordon Rule writing requirement. A grade of 'C' or higher must be attained. 3 credit hours.
